Psi, vital energy, and electromagnetism

Despite decades of parapsychological research, psi phenomena have not yet been convincingly explained in terms of modern physics, which is probably one of the reasons why the scientific community is still mostly disregarding them. In the past, it has been theorized that psi is electromagnetic in nature, its transmission occurring through some sort of electromagnetic waves. That theory has been abandoned. It does not explain phenomena such as precognition and retrocognition, nor have any such waves been detected in tests involving, for example, e.g. telepathy or remote viewing.

Reviewing both academic and non-academic resources, one finds substantial evidence for the electromagnetic nature of psi, in particular in mind-over-matter type experiments. Some particularly experienced martial artists can voluntarily produce electromagnetic fields with extraordinary characteristics. These include field amplitudes high enough to cause the electrical breakdown of air (i.e. >30 kV/cm), voltage reaching tens and even hundreds of kilovolts (i.e. 104-105 V), frequencies anywhere between VLF and VHF (100-1013 Hz) and power density that can melt some polymers and ignite some flammable substances. The electromagnetic fields produced by these adepts can also carry information. Some people can subconsciously emulate the complex frequency encoding of a variety of remote-control signals. However, the transmission of the electromagnetic fields seems to occur through an unusual kind of quantum teleportation rather than ordinary wave propagation.

A brief history of premonition registries

The idea of creating registries to record multiple premonitions before they come true is probably centuries old. In the last 50 years or so, at least ten such registries have been created but none of them has gained much popularity and currently only one of them is active.  BRITISH PREMONITIONS BUREAU (Dr. John Barker) In 1967, English psychiatrist Dr. John Barker established that registry following a carbon avalanche in Welsh village Aberfan that had killed over 130, mostly children while studying in the local school and the reports of many people that they or their children had foreseen the accident.
